ROAD CLOSURES

Old Street Roundabout – until early 2021 new Road layout around Old Street roundabout

There will be no left turn from Old Street West to City Road North, and no right turn from City Road South to Old Street East.

Roads in the local area are expected to be even busier. Please give more time for your ride.
If you're driving through the city, please be patient as people walking and cycling and other traffic get used to the new road layout.

A406 Eastbound Link Road, M11 Junction 4, Woodford - Weekend closures due to essential structure maintenance

Three closures are planned:

From 22:00 on Friday 30 October to 5:30 on Monday 2 November. Second closing from 22:00 Friday 6 November to 05:30 Monday 9 November.

Third closing, backup booking only, from 22:00 Friday 13 November to 05:30 Monday 16 November

This is due to the vital work to ensure road safety, including the repair of existing bridge joints. There will be a signed diversion in place.

Knightsbridge – Road restrictions in place until early November

Lane limits and temporary lighting on the A4, Knightsbridge at the intersection of Sloane Street and Brompton Road

They are meant to replace the main work carried out by Cadent Gas. Delays are planned, please prepare ahead of time and verify before you travel.

Vauxhall Bridge - closure until late November 2020 will be closed to northbound traffic

From 9:00 a.m. on Saturday 31 October, the southbound lanes will be reopened.

Northbound towards Victoria will stay on a marked diversion across Albert Embankment, Lambeth Bridge and Millbank.

If you follow a signed diversion path, you will be excluded from charges for the Congestion Charge and the Ultra Low Emission Zone.

If your path is through the area but does not end locally, please consider re-routing. Chelsea Bridge, Lambeth Bridge and the nearby roads are all likely to be busy

Oxford Street - until December 2020

Oxford Street will be closed in separate directions between Marble Arch and Tottenham Court Road from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. every Sunday and Monday night until December 2020.

Oxford Street will be closed on Sunday nights between Oxford Circus and Tottenham Court Lane.  Oxford Street will be blocked on Monday nights between Oxford Circus and Marble Arch. This is attributable to the efforts of the Westminster Council

Bexley – Until mid-February 2021

The A2 Danson Road will be limited to two lanes for traffic in either direction. This is due to the necessary upkeeping of the underpass.

Some of the work would enable us to close two lanes in either direction, but we will do such work at night to mitigate the effects, particularly during peak hours.
