Reference: https://content.tfl.gov.uk/tphbulletin21.03.2024.pdf DBS UPDATE SERVICE It is now a mandatory licensing requirement for anyone applying for a taxi or PHV driver license, both new and renewal, to provide evidence of registration with the DBS Update Service. There are two opportunities to register with the DBS Update Service: • Within 28 days from when the applicant applies for their enhanced DBS check. • Within 30 days from the date when the DBS certificate was issued. Missing the registration windows will require applicants to apply and pay for a new enhanced DBS check. TRAVEL DISRUPTION

Planned strike action on the London Trams network is expected between Sunday 24 and Thursday 28 March:

• Normal service expected on Sunday 24 March. • Between Monday 25 and Wednesday 27 March, no London Trams service expected before 07:00 or after 18:00. Reduced service will operate between Wimbledon and Reeves Corner, and between East Croydon and Beckenham Junction/New Addington from 07:00 to 18:00. • On Thursday 28 March, services expected to start later than normal with possible disruption throughout the day. In case of strikes, increased demand for taxi and private hire journeys within the affected areas is likely. Visit our website for more information.

TAXI FARES AND TARIFFS UPDATE

London taxi fares and tariffs changes, as outlined in Taxi and Private Hire Notice 03/24, will come into effect on Saturday 20 April 2024.

ROAD UPDATES Blackwall Tunnel Southbound Closures • Closure dates: • From 00:01 on Saturday 23 until 05:00 on Monday 25 March • From 00:01 on Saturday 13 until 05:00 on Monday 15 April • Northbound traffic remains open. Expect heavy traffic and delays in east and central London. Congestion Charging zone operates as normal. RANK SUSPENSIONS The following ranks will be suspended: • 5565 Duke Street (Selfridges): Suspension from 22:00 on Thursday 21 until 05:00 on Friday 22 March due to a crane operation. • 5139 Oxford Street (Selfridges): Suspension from 22:00 on Thursday 21 until 05:00 on Friday 22 March due to a crane operation. • 5681 Whitehall Court (Royal Horseguards Hotel): Suspension from 06:00 until 23:59 on Monday 25 March due to filming with the hotel. • 5948 London Bridge and Guildable Manor: Suspension from 21:00 on Friday 22 until 05:00 on Monday 25 March due to bridge works. A full road closure is in place. • 5661 Union Street, Kingston: Suspension until 17:00 on Wednesday 10 April for traffic management during utility works. • 5711 Bishops Bridge Road (Feeder rank to Paddington station): Rear 10 metres only suspended until 17:00 on Friday 22 March for installation of new street lighting. • 5948 Guildable Manor: Second portion only suspended until 05:00 on Friday 29 March to facilitate works compound for bridge works. • 5868 Berkeley Square (40 Berkeley Square): Suspension until 18:00 on Friday 12 April for major carriageway utility works. There will be lane closures and partial road closures in phases during these works. • 5788 Eccleston Place: Second portion only suspended until Monday 12 August from 08:00 until 13:00, Monday to Friday only, for loading and unloading for works to the library roof.
